me
-
I’m a full-stack developer who’s currently working with a .NET + Angular stack. While I’d like to keep working across the full-stack, I remain flexible in the specific technologies.
-
I enjoy working in cross-functional, autonomous and harmonious teams. In such environments, I express a strong sense of ownership. When I express ownership, I’m proactive, opinionated and argumentative. I value pragmatism and I put my commitments above my convictions.
-
I have low tolerance for decision making processes that makes learning from decisions and outcomes difficult. In short, I believe that if something’s worth doing, it’s worth doing with made-up statistics. I generalize this attitude to the whole of my work.
-
I’m very sensitive to needs of others needs. I believe that people should be able to express their feelings/opinions/needs for effective collaboration. Establishing emotionally safe environments is an absolute priority for me.
experience
Software developer at ParkBee, Amsterdam
March 2021- current
- I work on our internal and external products across a .NET and Angular stack. My current focus is on developing and maintaining a multi-platform MVP for a specific user group and the integration of the MVP to our ecosystem.
During the past year:
- - I’ve led the purchasing and implementation of feature flags. Our initial implementation has since been vendored into our frontend applications, serving all of our user groups,
- - I’ve contributed to ongoing efforts to split our monolithic backend into smaller services: developing new services, integrating into our ecosystem and migrating existing integrations,
- - I’ve joined my current team as the first developer and carved out some features of our flagship product to enable quick experimentation. This led to my current focus: a multi-platform MVP that serve two distinct user groups,
- - Helped hire and onboard new team members.
